Impact
2025
Impact is Current's annual year-end initiative by which we increase our ability to fund local & global strategic partnerships, church planting, and intentional outreach events in the community. Below are some of the gospel opportunities we had this year because of our church family’s generous giving!
Goal By December 31:
$250,000
From the beginning, it has been our heart that we partner generously with other gospel-hearted organizations. By God’s grace, our impact goal is 25x what it was when we launched eight years ago!
100% of Impact goes out to our non-profit partners, church plants, and the local community.
With God’s help, we can make a far greater impact together than we could on our own.
Will you prayerfully consider making a year-end gift to increase our Kingdom impact over the next year?
Local Partnerships
We seek to meet both physical & spiritual needs, coming alongside local
non-profit organizations & ministries to support their initiatives.
We do this through giving, serving, and praying.
East Palo Alto
WeHOPE
Helping people experiencing homelessness become healthy, employed, and housed. As part of our $30,000 partnership this year, we got to invest in new housing initiatives, including a newly opened family shelter in Half Moon Bay. Current Groups regularly bring dinner to the East Palo Alto shelter and are preparing encouraging Christmas gifts for a team of over 100 hardworking staff.

Foster the City
Help One Child
Foster the City is a coalition of churches committed to providing a loving home for every child in foster care. In 2024, Current gave a $15,000 annual grant. Current Groups will also utilize $5,000 to build a Christmas gift market for Help One Child, where up to 100 foster families can "shop" for foster children!

Hope Horizon
Trybe
$15,000 to support under-resourced Youth in the Bay Area through Trybe and Hope Horizon's Christmas outreach programs.

Love Never Fails
Restoring, educating, and protecting trafficking survivors in the Bay Area. This year, we gave $20,000 to support outreach, survivor care, awareness, and fundraising efforts. All of these funds were deployed through our Current groups—from serving at their Freedom Gala to wrapping Christmas gifts for their men’s, women’s, and youth homes.
Church Planting
As a church startup ourselves, we believe that planting strong, gospel-believing churches is the single greatest way to reach people with the love of Christ and have a tangible impact in a local community. Investing in these local Bay Area churches also allows us to invest in the well-being of their neighborhoods!
In 2024, we distributed $95,000 in partnership grants to church plants in the Bay Area. Church plants and planting networks we have supported include:

-
New City Church (Oakland)
-
Quicksilver Church (San Jose)
-
Hue Church (Santa Clara)
-
City Center Church (Berkeley)
- Stratum Foundation
- Strategic Launch Network

Alpha
Creating safe spaces to explore the biggest questions about life, God, and the Christian faith. Since our launch, Current has hosted Alpha groups and has seen it lead to many faith decisions. We partnered with Alpha Northern California by giving $10,000 this year to help train and equip other churches to run the course and introduce people to Christ.

We contribute to their Soul Care program, which cares for the spiritual and emotional health of church and non-profit leaders in the Bay Area, leading to a more connected and thriving Bay Area Church.
