The Director of Student Ministry is responsible for the growth and spiritual formation of Current’s MS & HS-aged students, aiming to bring students into the faith via gospel-centered community and teaching them to live for God’s kingdom first.
This is a full-time staff leadership position, with potential to hold a Pastoral title given the right experience or qualifications. Salary to be determined by experience and expertise.
Current Silicon Valley is a nine-year-old growing church startup of over 500 people. We are a young, multi-ethnic community filled with professionals working in tech - many of whom come to Silicon Valley to find career success and are finding life change through Jesus, learning to put the kingdom first in all they do. In a very post-Christian area, our mission is to love God, love one another, and love the world. By God’s grace, we’ve seen many (including those who described themselves as atheist or “anti-church”) put their faith in Jesus. The harvest is plentiful, and we’re praying for more laborers!
